  • 4 cups fresh or frozen cranberries

  • 1/2 to 3/4 cup white sugar

  • 1 tablespoon orange zest

  • 1/2 cup fresh orange juice

  • 1/2 cup water

  • Pinch of cinnamon or cinnamon stick (optional)
