Step 1

Choose the color you want for your large crepe paper ribbon bow. Lay the paper on a flat surface and cut it lengthwise in four strips. Each strip should be 16 inches in length, and the width should be 3/4 inch.

Step 2

Apply glue one drop of glue to one end of the paper. Fold the strip of the paper in half and place the end with the glue on top of the other end. Press down on both ends to secure them together.

Step 3

Put some glue on the inner center of the paper and press down on the center of the circular strip. Only the middle section should be glued together. The strip of paper should now look like a bow tie.

Step 4

Continue to glue the ends and center of the strips of papers to form little bow ties or loops. Apply glue to the center of one of the glued paper. Place another one on top of it so that it resembles an "X," then apply glue to the center of that loop.

Step 5

Place another glued strip in the form of an "X" on top of the glue. Continue with this pattern until all of the glued strips (loops) are stacked on top of one another. To complete your large crepe paper ribbon bow, firmly press down on the center to hold the loops together.
