#2013alive: Prep for Making it Happen Next Week

We’re prepping for week 5 of #2013alive April – putting our plans in action to follow our bliss.

April’s 12 Months of Wellness goal has been all about finding our bliss. We’ve approached the topic in a few ways: clearing mental clutter, discovering our talents, seeking out a role model, and creating vision boards.

Now we’re prepping for next week’s goal—basically, we’re going to act on everything we’ve learned about ourselves during the past few weeks by creating a game plan, and putting it into action! This is all about the nitty-gritty details that—boring as they may be—are what’s standing between us and that amazing yoga retreat (or culinary school or bike trip …) on our vision board. By breaking one big vision into several concrete steps, we can achieve our goals.

While next week is when we’re going to put all this into action, here are a few questions to ponder over your weekend:

  • Do you need to save up some money? (If so, could you cut some unnecessary indulgences, like a $4 latte?)
  • Do you need to research courses? Programs? Organizations?
  • Is there a skill or hobby you should devote more time to practising?

Share your April experiences
